Time to make up for what I failed to do in my first journal entry: introduce myself.

Draiken Talkos is an alias I use at most websites I go to as well as the name of my first role-playing character. Other names I use are Dralik Soklat and Sorrel Zenric, also role-playing characters of mine. I have been a member of 10-15 role-playing forms, only four of which I somewhat actively participate in; the rest I have either lost interest in or have closed from lack of activity.

While I enjoy writing, my main hobby is Magic: The Gathering, one of my favorite games. I enjoy reading manga, watch tokusatsu when I can, and have stopped listening to music in english. (I enjoy j-pop more and j-Disney is just fun to listen to.)

Favorite bands (that sing in English) include Vertical Horizon and Nightwish. J-pop artists include Bump of Chicken, On/Off, and Miyamoto Shunichi.

While this may be interesting, this doesn't say anything about me, now does it? These last few paragraphs were only about my interests. Time to shift gears then.

I am a happy person. I enjoy going to school (something many people don't). I like starting off my day with energy while many might still be sleepy. I try to have fun with anything I do, including homework.

I am proud to be a nerd. For many creative assignments for school, I have been able to incorporate artwork from Magic: The Gathering or even Yu-Gi-Oh. This I find to be amusing because I am able to make these types of connections and utilize them into schoolwork.

I try to be creative. When I open a new booster pack of Magic, I look at the cards and see what decks I can build after seeing a single card. This leads me to about ten minutes of finding cards that could be used with the first card, another 15-20 minutes of actually building the deck if I find enough cards, and perhaps ten minutes of testing the deck. I have made wacky decks, few which actually work. (I am currently attempting to build an all-foil deck out of foil cards I get out of boosters and such, and it is being built not for the sake of functionality but for the sake of foily-ness. ^_^ )

Still not good enough? Then maybe you'll just have to get to know me better.
